Cookie Policy
Which cookies we use, and how you can control them.
What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. We also use your browser's local storage for the same purpose of remembering a choice you made.
Cookie preference
When you first visit visitrotterdam.com, we ask whether we may use analytics cookies. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key vr_cookie_consent, so we don't have to ask again on later visits. This storage is strictly necessary to remember your preference and does not require consent itself.
Analytics cookies (only after consent)
If you accept, Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-WPPTPMVY2S) places cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to measure how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how long, and roughly where visitors come from. This data is anonymised in aggregate reporting and is never sold to third parties.
No advertising or tracking cookies
We do not place advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies. Clicking through to Expedia or another partner site is governed by that site's own cookie policy, not ours.
Changing your choice
Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page to reopen the cookie banner and change your choice at any time. You can also clear cookies and site data through your browser's own settings.
