Getting home: metro and night bus times
Rotterdam's metro runs until roughly 00:30 on weekdays and extends to around 01:30-02:00 on Friday and Saturday nights. After that, RET's Night Bus network takes over on Friday and Saturday nights: 13 numbered routes (N1, N2, N3, N4, N5, N7, N8, N9, N10, N11, N13, N16 and N19) replacing the older network long known as the BOB-bus, a name RET no longer uses (source: RET corporate press release, 5 September 2025). Most routes leave Rotterdam Centraal roughly once an hour between about 00:30 and 01:00, for a fixed €6.30 fare paid by contactless bank card or OV-chipkaart, or €7.00 for a barcode ticket in the RET app; line N19 heads to Hoek van Holland and line N13 to Rotterdam The Hague Airport (source: corporate.ret.nl, 2026).
